I have always defined myself when
asked, or just in general, as Mexican. I didn’t have the ethnic markers that
people expected Mexicans to have and it was a huge clash between me always
thinking of myself as Mexican and all of a sudden people saying, “Oh well, you
don’t look it.” Knowing this and having these percentages, and having these
descriptors now gives me a tool to kind of have a conversation. I
think that’s the cool part. ♪ [music] ♪
