July 11, 2012 Reply Elena Ro So lovely… Thank you… you give me so many ideas…. Warmest regards from Mexico City July 11, 2012 Reply Batdriven Hey – thanks for this tut. I already did many Lifetress with a similar method and someone asked me to make a tutorial – I did, but never edited and uploaded it, haha. I'm not that good at explaining, but for a beginner this should be really easy to understand. Awesome. I'll just point them in your direction now, if I get asked questions, haha. July 11, 2012 Reply Sherry Gaillard You have a very pleasing voice to go with the excellent instructions. Thanks a bunch. July 12, 2012 Reply vidbox44 Great piece! August 7, 2012 Reply Brian Insole Great tutorial you have a pleasing and at the same time imformative voice. Great design . Thank you August 25, 2012 Reply Rachel at Wire Guild Glad you like it why not share what you make on my facebook page I would love to see. Happy wrapping R August 26, 2012 Reply vidbox44 This is the simplest most gratifying project I've ever found. Pairing bead color selections with birth months, I've made gifts for everyone (beads representing important people in the recipient's life). What a crowd pleaser! And the material costs can be kept low – just a few beads and some wire. I paired with a 19 strand beading wire chain; simple and elegant. Thanks so very much for sharing. August 28, 2012 Reply Rachel at Wire Guild I'm glad you liked it – would love to see what you've made if you care to share my facebook link is above. R September 4, 2012 Reply Taming the Wild My fav. tut of yours! So very simple to do. I have such a large family I did my mother's kid's birthstones in Japanese seed beads on the left of the bail and the grandkids on the right side. oldest to youngest order. Everyone is LOVING how great they look I just smile knowing how easy it was. Great tut!!!!! Thanks so much for sharing this one!!! September 19, 2012 Reply Kamilla Van Der Molen Thnx a lot 😀 October 27, 2012 Reply debzere Is this wire made of gold? Where can I buy the beads you have used in the US? I think I found the garnet at Hobby Lobby. But where can I find the opal? Thanks. December 14, 2012 Reply Rachel at Wire Guild The wire is silver and I bought the opal beads from Australia several years ago. Dont worry all trees turn out different and different beads just add to the individuality of your tree. December 15, 2012 Reply debzere Thank you. December 15, 2012 Reply KazeChama This! I can point you in the right direct either in the States or UK let me know – Might be easier on facebook as I can post links there. January 22, 2013 Reply Rachel at Wire Guild I can not post links on youtube good companies you could search for are Riogrand and Fire Mountain Gems both of these in the states probably the best choice especially if you dont mind ordering from the states – If you want links please ask on my facebook page. Thanks January 27, 2013 Reply LaDollyVita33 This is awesome! I was in the metal shop today picking up 20 gauge wires, now I have to go back tomorrow and get the even finer wires so I can try this out!! So beautiful. May 29, 2013 Reply Purple Dreamer Ohh you make it look so easy Thank you for explaining it slowly think I will have to watch it in stages before I try making one Btw can you use different thickness of wire to what you used? Thanks again 🙂 May 29, 2013 Reply Rachel at Wire Guild Thickness of wire does not really matter but for the frame it does need to be strong enough to hold it's shape, and the fine wire that you create the tree from does need to be quite fine otherwise you need super strong fingers – Good luck I'd love to see what you make why not post me pic on my facebook page. 🙂 May 30, 2013 Reply Rachel at Wire Guild Thanks! May 4, 2014 Reply Shiro Love this kind of pendent … I dont know where to buy the wire for a good price tho it all seems expensive 🙁 May 14, 2014 Reply Rachel Murgatroyd It depends where you are in the world??
